In March 2023, the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Great Britain and Ireland brought together surgeons from around the world to discuss topics in CT surgery.
In this talk, Dr. Joe Bavaria discusses risk factors in the management of thoracic aortic aneurysms and dissections that do not have to do with the size of the aneurysm. He speaks on how the new STS and AATS endorsed aortic guidelines have informed risk assessment in treating thoracic aortic aneurysms, as well as how to interpret these guidelines in individual cases.
