If you’re ready to showcase your late-breaking clinical science, be sure to submit your abstract by 15 August 2026 for the opportunity to present your findings to the global cardiothoracic community.

Late-breaking science abstracts are typically first-time, international presentations of the primary endpoint or important secondary endpoint results of prospective multicentre randomised trials.

We welcome all submissions showcasing large-scale single-centre or multicentre registries, first-in-human experiences with novel devices or therapies, and important follow-up data from major randomised trials.

Techno-College Innovation Award

The Techno-College Innovation Award welcomes applications from surgeons, engineers, innovators, researchers and scientists advancing the field of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery.
We are seeking technological breakthroughs in thoracic and cardiovascular research, particularly new surgical methods or devices. Submissions may include patents, inventions, products, ideas or services with the potential to meaningfully advance clinical practice beyond incremental improvement. The winner will be selected by the New Technology Task Force and invited to present during the Techno-College sessions at the Annual Meeting. Submissions are open until 31 Augst 2026.
