The first presentation, “FMR+EF 30%: COAPT Criteria, Gray Zones,” was delivered by Ilias Ninios, Interventional Cardiologist Doctor of Cardiology of A.U.Th, European Interbalkan Medical Center, Thessaloniki.
Next, Vlasis Ninios, Interventional Cardiologist, Director of Cardiology Department, European Interbalkan Medical Center, Thessaloniki, presented on “AFMR,” followed by questions and comments from the panelists.
The third presentation, “Screening for Patients. LV too Large for MTEER?” was given by Konstantinos Papadopoulos, Cardiologist, Head of Echocardiography Lab, 3rd cardiology Clinic, European Interbalkan Medical Center, Thessaloniki. Commentary from the panel followed.
Then, “Primary MR in High-Risk Patient” was presented by Dr. Vassilios Goulielmos, Cardiac Surgeon, Associate Professor of Cardiac Surgery, Dresden, Germany, and Director of the Cardiac Surgery Department, General Clinic, Thessaloniki. The presentation included insights from panelists.
Next Michael Chrissoheris, Cardiologist, Associate Director, Transcatheter Heart Valves Department, Hygeia Hospital, Athens, presented “MR + AF + TR: What Comes First?”
The final presentation, “Severe MR and MAC: TEER, TMVR, Surgery, or Palliation?” was presented by Dr. Panagiotis Dedeilias, Cardiac Surgeon, Director of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Dept, Evaggelismos GH, Athens, and President of the Hellenic Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons.
