Dr. Mara Antonoff, president of Women in Thoracic Surgery (WTS) and Associate Professor and Program Director of Education at MD Anderson Cancer Center, spoke with her colleagues Dr. Stephanie Chang, a thoracic surgeon at NYU Langone Health, and Dr. Amy Fiedler, a cardiac surgeon at University of California San Francisco, about the program highlights for the upcoming WTS Annual Meeting.
They discussed the opening plenary session with Drs. Rosalyn Scott Ferguson and Cherie Erkmen, the workforce and education abstracts, and the various career sessions, including the early career, mid-career and advanced career symposium. They also explored the wellness events that will be occurring, as well as various roundtables and the closing plenary session.
