At the 2024 EACTS Annual Meeting, Dr. Alice Copperwheat spoke with Jorge Mascaro, professor of surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, about Type B aortic dissection. They discussed what Type B aortic dissection is, how to determine the appropriate management for patients, and its traditional management strategies. They also explored endovascular approaches to Type B dissection, methods for preventing malperfusion symptoms, and specialized centers focused on treating Type B aortic dissection.
