I am a General Thoracic surgeon by trade, with a special interest in Minimal access Surgery.  Wythenshawe hospital has one of the largest thoracic practices in the United Kingdom and we performed the most resections for Lung Cancer in the UK a couple of years ago. I am particularly pleased about having been able to resurrect the Minimal access programme at our premier institution and over the years build it up to the current level.  I am passionate about education and strongly believe that all of us are where we are as a result of our teachers and the time and effort that they invested in us.  It is my desire to offer the same to our trainees.
