CTSNet Roundtable at the 2012 EACTS Annual Meeting: “Thoracic Mesothelioma”

At the 2012 EACTS Annual Meeting, in Barcelona, Dr. Doug Wood led a discussion on the treatment of limited stage mesothelioma. He was joined by Prof. Franca Melfi from the University of Pisa, Dr. Paul van Schil from Antwerp University Hospital, and Dr. Lex Maat from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Topics covered in the discussion include the MARS Trial, neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy, and post-operative radiotherapy as well as Extrapleural Pneumonectomy (EPP) vs. extended pleurectomy and decortication.
