At the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Great Britain and Ireland Annual Meeting, Dr. Nuria M. Novoa, chief of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at University Hospital Puerta de Hierro-Majadahonda, Madrid, and 2024-2025 ESTS President, delivered a presentation on “Assessing and Improving Quality of Life After Thoracic Surgery.” She addressed topics such as postoperative outcomes, patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), and measuring quality of life. Dr. Novoa also explored patient-reported experience measures (PREMs), health related questionnaires, and improving outcomes.
