Left Robotic-Assisted S1/2 Bi-Segmentectomy
Pumphrey O. Left Robotic-Assisted S1/2 Bi-Segmentectomy. October 2025. doi:10.25373/ctsnet.30408175
A left upper lobe S1/2 bi-segmentectomy is a useful operation for tumors isolated in this position. Using 3D modeling, the authors delineated the vascular and bronchial anatomy to ensure that a reasonable margin of the anterior segment was to be left in situ. The posterior approach allows for straightforward division of bronchovascular structures and stapling of the segmental plane.
