This article was restricted but Endorsed among others by the Asian Society of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Can you explain what does it mean?
Yes this is restricted access by the European heart journal to people with a subscription but it is one of a growing number of articles that says if you have more than 7-10 year life expectancy and might need 2 interventions then choose SAVR first. Much better to have SAVR then TAVR than TAVR and another TAVR. The multiple reasons are mostly given in the visual abstract in the link. Thanks for the question.
