Oral board exams assess more than clinical knowledge. The Oral Board AI Simulator (OBAS), developed through the Ed Curtis Laboratory for Innovation in Medical Education (ECLIME) at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, is available on CTSNet. It is designed to help cardiothoracic trainees develop and refine these essential skills.
OBAS provides on-demand access to unlimited mock oral board examinations. In each session, a realistic AI video examiner presents a case by voice, responds dynamically to your answers, and adapts the scenario in real time. Every response is evaluated using a structured rubric, providing objective, targeted feedback at the end of each session.
