In this study, the authors aimed to demonstrate their new approach to mediastinal pathologies with CO₂ insufflation, showing how they preserved both phrenic nerves. In comparison to the uniportal subxphoid approach, the surgeons completely removed pericardial fatty tissue.

Excellent technique. Thanks for sharing. May I know how you have extracted there tumour specimen through the port incision ? Was it intact or piece meal? Thanks again
Thank you for your kind comment. We extracted the tumor specimen intact, in one piece, using an endobag through the subxiphoid port.
