Oncologic Outcomes After VATS Resection

G. Alexander Patterson of the Washington Univervisty School of Medicine in St Louis, Missouri, gives a presentation on oncologic outcomes after video-assisted thoracoscopic (VATS) resections. He discusses the suitability of the VATS approach for oncologically-sound procedures, recent usage rates of VATS, and the importance of nodal dissection regardless of surgical approach.
