From Clinic Question to Research: An Interview With Dr. Modrau and Saugbjerg

At the 2025 European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS) Annual Meeting, CTSNet Senior Editor Cristina Ruiz Segria spoke with Dr. Ivy Susanne Modrau, Associate Professor and Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at Aarhus University Hospital, and Marianne Saugbjerg, project coordinator at Aarhus University Hospital, about their presentation on taking a clinical question and turning it into research. They discussed ways nurses can be more engaged in trials and research, highlighted the importance of nurses and surgeons working together closely, and patient recovery.
