Join us for the 2026 Annual Cardiothoracic Surgery Meeting of Aotearoa New Zealand. This year's conference is convened by Dr. Zach DeBoard, consultant cardiothoracic surgeon, and the team at the Waikato Hospital. Key components of the meeting will include complex heart failure, arrhythmia surgery, best practises in aortic surgery, and team dynamics, and patient-focused excellence. Engaging speakers from around the globe will join us & include experts in cardiothoracic surgery, perfusion, palliative care, professional sports, aerospace industry, patient advocacy & outreach. Also included are sessions for projects and interesting cases as well as breakout meetings for nursing/physiotherapy/allied health and perfusion. Trainees will be able to participate in a mock oral board/fellowship exam by consultant surgeons. Hands-on skill labs and entertaining dinner events round out a comprehensive experience in a beautiful beach location in Aotearoa New Zealand's North Island.
