The National Conference of Thoracic Surgery Romania

This year the Romanian Society of Thoracic Surgery 1994 organizes the XIVth National Conference of Thoracic Surgery in Craiova, at 22-24th September 2016. We will try to introduce Oltenia County's into the select circle of organizing cities for our conferences. The designation of Craiova honors us!

The Local Comitee already began to alter our local dialect with the following thematics:

1. Lung Cancer - Controversies and Consensum in Today's Treatment
2. Romanian Thoracic Surgery - Redefining Through Education and Interdisciplinarity. We wish that during this edition to widely open the gates of our society to other specialities (Pulmomology, Oncology, Radiotherapy, Gastroeneterology, Family Medicine), but also to colleagues - thoracic surgeons whom we haven't seen to our latest reunions.

We will grant priority to debates, and also the interdisciplinary conferences and we will launch the opportunity of case presentations to our younger colleagues, the residents.

Guests from abroad (both those already part of our family, and the newest invited) will be welcomed, and the screening programme for vineyards has already begun!

We look forward to seeing you when autumn begins, for a fruitful and friendly rendezvous in the new, special place: Banie.
