Background
Dr. Mudasiru Adebayo Salami was educated at University of Ibadan College of Medicine where he graduated from in 1999 with MB; BS degree. Upon his graduation he underwent post graduate clinical fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Leipzig Heart Center, Cardiac Surgery Department, Leipzig Germany, from April 2007 to March 2008. Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases Madras Medical Mission, in Chennai India from May 2008 to January 2009 and subsequently at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen, United Kingdom from August 2010 to October 2011 before he finally returned to Nigeria and he has since been a consultant , cardiovascular, and thoracic surgery at University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan. He is also a lecturer in the Department of Surgery at University of Ibadan.
