Background
Davi Freitas Tenorio, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon with the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, a clinical partnership between Dell Children’s Medical Center and UT Health Austin. He specializes in congenital heart disease and is dedicated to exceptional patient care. He serves as an Assistant Professor with The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School. Dr. Tenorio is a medical graduate from the Federal University of Alagoas in Brazil. He furthered his training at the University of Sao Paulo, Latin America’s largest cardiology center, where he completed his Cardiothoracic Surgery training. Dr. Tenorio is actively engaged in research, contributing to the latest advancements in cardiac surgery, which has earned him several awards. He is an active member of the Brazilian Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery and a founding member of the Academic Department of the Brazilian Society of Cardiovascular Surgery.
