Dr.Allman received his initial surgical education in Sydney Australia after graduating from Sydney University.
After passing Part 1of the fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of surgeons examination,he continued his surgical education at the Cleveland Clinic for three of residency in general surgery and two years of residency in cardiothoracic surgery
He completed a fellowship at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston while simultaneously holding an appointment as clinical instructor at Harvard medical school,
