Background
I am a general thoracic surgery with special interest in VATS lobectomy and VATS thymectomy. I studied medicine at the university of Khartoum, Sudan. I enrolled in my general surgical training there as well. I had two years of training in cardiothoracic surgery as a post graduate trainee. I moved to the UK in 2007 where I worked in different hospitals until I was appointed to my cardiothoracic registrar at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. I finished my training and I achieved the FRCS CTh from the Royal College Of Surgeons Of England. I worked as a locum consultant thoracic surgeon at the John Radcliffe Hospital before I moved in to the Freeman Hospital where I worked as a locum consultant Thoracic Surgeon since March 2016 until December 2016 when I was appointed as a locum Consultant Thoracic Surgeon in Plymouth Hospitals NHS trust until present.
