Randomized trial in high risk patients (n=121) with severe aortic stenosis comparing a balloon-expandable valve (Edwards Sapien XT) versus a self-expandable valve (Medtronic CoreValve). Higher device success and lower PPM implantation was appreciated in the ballon-expandable group.
