EACTS Academy is excited to announce two new webinar series for 2025. The Nurses and Allied Health Professionals series focuses on advancing multidisciplinary skills and best practices, ensuring the highest quality of patient care. Additionally, the Statistics webinar series equips participants with essential tools to understand and apply statistical principles in clinical and research settings.

Building on the success of last year's series, the Next Generation webinars are tailored for pre-trainees and medical students. These sessions offer a unique glimpse into the life of a cardiothoracic surgeon, blending clinical insights with real-world perspectives on the challenges and rewards of the profession. This year’s topics include innovations in mitral valve repair and the management of atrial fibrillation, led by experts from across Europe.

Meanwhile, the Case Corner series, now in its fourth year, continues to foster collaborative learning, providing residents with a platform to present and discuss challenging cases. The Fundamentals in Congenital Heart Disease course has been specifically designed as a Level 1 course to align with the European Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery (EBCTS) exams. Complementing other Fundamentals courses, it provides a structured introduction to congenital heart disease, laying a strong foundation for further specialized learning​
