The International VATS Symposium Will Live Stream on CTSNet

Don’t miss the live streaming of the 4th International VATS Symposium next Friday, October 20, 2017, from 8:45 am – 4:00 pm BST (2:45 – 10:00 am CDT). The Friday lectures and discussions will be available in real time on a dedicated CTSNet page, the CTSNet Facebook page, and the CTSNet YouTube channel as part of this collaboration between CTSNet and the International VATS Symposium.

Find the live stream here.

The 2017 International VATS Symposium will be held on October 20-21 in London, UK. This postgraduate course emphasizes the use of video-based education and in-depth discussion of technical details. The interactive course will provide all the elements needed to develop a successful advanced minimally invasive program, including expert techniques with particular focus on single port, robotic, and nonintubated surgery.

No registration is necessary to participate in CTSNet’s inaugural live streaming event. Visitors to the CTSNet website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel will be able to view the live stream with just one click. Questions posted to the stream will be monitored and may be read out to the presenter in London. “Live streaming conferences such as the International VATS Symposium is exciting, as it provides a platform for the international surgical community to engage in these discussions in real time and from anywhere in the world,” says Joel Dunning, CTSNet Editor for General Thoracic Surgery.

Delegates will be invited to discuss the technical aspects of the most challenging procedures with international experts and to share their most difficult cases with a knowledgeable and skilled faculty. Course co-director Marco Scarci says, “We have a fantastic faculty presenting at this year’s VATS Symposium. It will be an excellent learning opportunity for both in-person and virtual attendees.” To attend the symposium in-person, please see the course registration information.
