Invitation to Attend the STSA 63rd Annual Meeting in Naples, FL, November 9-12

The deadline to preregister for the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association (STSA) 63rd Annual Meeting is October 10th. STSA encourages you to attend the meeting, which will be taking place at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples, FL, from November 9-12. Attendees can register for the meeting and reserve a hotel room at www.stsa.org/63rdannual.

The 63rd Annual Meeting will feature many dynamic educational sessions and opportunities to enjoy the camaraderie of colleagues. View the full educational and social activity lineup in the Advance Program and Program Book. Highlights include:

  • Scientific oral and video abstract presentations throughout the meeting will include ample opportunity for discussion, beginning with the STSA/CTSNet Surgical Motion Pictures on November 9th.
  • The Postgraduate Program will feature an Interdisciplinary Care Provider breakout session titled “Management of the Postoperative Cardiothoracic Patient: The First 24 Hours.”
  • The General Session on November 11th will feature the Kent Trinkle Education Lectureship by Dr. William A. Baumgartner, the President’s Invited Lectureship by Dr. Michael J. Mack, and Dr. Ajay Carpenter’s Presidential Address.
  • The November 12th program includes a new video session titled “How to Do It”, which will highlight challenging surgical techniques.

Social activities are planned throughout the meeting. The Friday evening President’s Mixer provides meeting attendees an evening of networking and fun. The Saturday evening Awards Dinner & Dance is a must-attend event this year thanks to a return performance by WOOSAH!!!, a live band comprised of STSA colleagues.
