Perspectives in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Volume II is Now Available on CTSNet

CTSNet and SCTS are excited to bring Perspectives in Cardiothoracic Surgery: The SCTS Ionescu University, Volume II to the cardiothoracic surgery community. “We have chosen to make this freely available to CTSNet readers to underline the importance of education and staying up-to-date when there are so many other demands on our time,” said Paul Modi, editor of the volume.

An international group of experts address surgery of the thoracic aorta and minimally invasive lung surgery in key presentations from the 2016 Ionescu University that have been edited into scholarly articles for this volume. “Leading aortic surgeons provide their insight into a diverse range of aortic pathology, from hybrid arch replacement and aortic valve-preserving surgery, to sub-specialization in aortic surgery,” said Mr. Modi. “Pioneering thoracic surgeons cover the spectrum of lung surgery, including a comparison of VATS to open lobectomy, complex resections, and robotic approaches.”
