Register Now for STS Workshop on Robotic Thoracic Surgery

Train on a Robot to Perform General Thoracic Surgery

The Society of Thoracic Surgeons invites you to attend its Workshop on Robotic Thoracic Surgery in Norcross, Georgia, USA, May 16-18, 2019. This 3-day event offers attendees a realistic, general thoracic robotics simulation environment, where they can learn how to develop treatment plans and hone their skills in pulmonary, mediastinal, and esophageal operations with the aid of a robot.

In addition to 6 hours of hands-on training at a state-of-the-art simulation center, the Workshop will address how to launch or enhance a robotics program by covering necessary and recommended program prerequisites, individual and team skills, supplies and equipment, training, and administrative elements.

View the full educational program, and watch a video of course directors Inderpal S. Sarkaria, MD (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) and Abbas E. Abbas, MD (Temple University School of Medicine) explaining additional program highlights, who should attend, and what to expect.

Register today to join STS next month near Atlanta for this unique learning opportunity. Special rates for housing at the Atlanta Marriott Peachtree Corners are available until Thursday, April 25.
