STS 53rd Annual Meeting Begins

The cardiothoracic surgery community is gathering in Houston today for the STS 53rd Annual Meeting. Things begin with STS/AATS Tech-Con 2017, which will preview innovative therapies and technologies in adult cardiac and general thoracic surgery; Annual Meeting educational sessions start on Sunday.

Whether you are with the STS in Houston or couldn’t make this year’s Annual Meeting, you can peruse the Saturday/Sunday edition of the STS Meeting Bulletin, now available online. The Society’s official meeting newspaper covers highlights such as:

  • A welcome from STS President Joseph E. Bavaria, MD;
  • News on several exciting symposia to be held on Sunday, including a special session on heater-cooler-induced infections;
  • An exhibitor list with booth numbers, company descriptions, and a floor map;
  • And much more!

There’s still time to register for the meeting, sign up for Monday’s Social Event, or add STS University courses to your schedule. Registration is available online or in the Room 360 Lobby of the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Attendees receive STS Annual Meeting Online for free, while those not attending the meeting can purchase the product at 50% off post-meeting pricing until Wednesday, January 25.
