Submit Session Proposal for 2021 STS Annual Meeting

The Society of Thoracic Surgeons is seeking innovative ideas for sessions at its 57th Annual Meeting, January 30–February 2, 2021, in Austin, Texas. All members of the cardiothoracic surgery community are encouraged to submit a proposal that showcases emerging trends and/or critical issues facing the profession. Categories include:

  • Plenary Session – keynote lecturer, panel, or discussion that would be of interest to all attendees
  • Parallel Education Session – meet the experts panel, pro/con debate, surgical video, or case presentation that would be of interest to a particular discipline or segment of attendees
  • Hands-on Workshop – wet lab and/or simulator session
  • Other – any novel ideas, topics, or formats that don’t fit into the above

Your proposal must include a session title, target audience, description, suggested speakers, two measurable and achievable learning objectives, and any special requirements (such as audiovisual, polling, or other technical setup).

Submit your proposal by Tuesday, April 14, 2020. The STS Workforce on Annual Meeting will review submitted proposals as it builds the program for the 2021 Annual Meeting.

Scientific abstract submission for the Annual Meeting opens in May with a due date of August 11, 2020.
