The Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course: An Interview With Ms. Ruiz-Segria and Bartley

At the 2024 EACTS Annual Meeting, CTSNet senior editors set out to interview the most knowledgeable CT surgeons from around the world. Stay tuned for more interviews from the meeting.   

At the 2024 EACTS Annual Meeting, CTSNet Senior Editor Jill Ley spoke with Dr. Alice Copperwheat, a resident surgical trainee at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham; Ms. Cristina Ruiz-Segria, a cardiothoracic surgical care practitioner at James Cook University Hospital; and Ms. Tara Bartley, an advanced clinical practice lead for cardiac surgery at Royal Sussex County Hospital, about the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course. They explored the advantages of the course, future sessions, and surgical care training. They also discussed the evolution of the course, details of the current course, and their overall impressions.
