Interactive on-line course of Hands-On surgical teaching on 3D printed models. Attendees receive FIVE 3D printed silicne models of different variants of aortic arch hypoplasia and HLHS together with web-cam.
Course consists of 4 hour introductory lectures (December 4th), discussion and demonstrations of aortica arch repair techniques from simple coarctation to complex arch repair including Norwood arch reconstruction in different settings.
This is followed by three 4 hour sessions on consecutive days (December 10-12) where each technique is demonstrated and then attendees perform the surgery, transmitting images by webcam with direct interaction, advice and assessment by the proctors.
