The 2018 International VATS Symposium will be held on September 28-29 in Monza, Italy. This postgraduate course emphasizes the use of video-based education and in-depth discussion of technical details. The theme of the 2018 meeting is “a special focus on segmentectomies: indications and surgical techniques.”

No registration is necessary to participate in this livestreaming event. Visitors to the CTSNet website, YouTube channel, Facebook page, and Twitter page will be able to view the livestream with just one click. Questions posted to the stream will be monitored and may be read out to the presenter in Monza. We encourage users participating via the livestream to post questions and comments!

Delegates will be invited to discuss the technical aspects of the most challenging procedures with international experts and to share their most difficult cases with a knowledgeable and skilled faculty. Course co-director Marco Scarci says, “We have a fantastic faculty presenting at this year’s VATS Symposium. It will be an excellent learning opportunity for both in-person and virtual attendees.” To attend the symposium in person, please see the course registration information.
