Registration Now Open for STS 51st Annual Meeting

The Society of Thoracic Surgeons invites you to its 51st Annual Meeting in San Diego, January 24–28, 2015. Approximately 2,300 cardiothoracic surgeons and members of their surgical teams are expected to converge on “America’s Finest City” for five days of lectures, discussions, debates, hands-on activities, and networking opportunities.

Watch STS surgeon leaders share reasons to attend the meeting.

“The STS Annual Meeting offers an unparalleled opportunity to exchange ideas, learn new information, and network with colleagues,” said Joseph C. Cleveland Jr., MD, Chair of the Workforce on Annual Meeting. “I always look forward to the discussions that occur at the meeting, and I am always eager to discover my own knowledge gaps so that I can bring home new ways to help my patients in Colorado.”

As more international members of the cardiothoracic surgery team attend the STS Annual Meeting, the Workforce on Annual Meeting is expanding available opportunities for international interaction. Sessions will be offered in conjunction with four associations based outside of the US—two in Europe and two in Canada. For more details on the scientific program, view the Advance Program now.

You can also register for STS/AATS Tech-Con 2015, January 24-25, which will feature the latest in cardiothoracic surgery therapies, including those in various stages of the approval process.

Register today and reserve your housing. Early bird registration rates will end Monday, December 1, 2014. If you have questions about registration, contact the Society’s official registration partner, Experient, at (866) 229-2386 (toll free), (301) 694-5243 (for international callers), or sts@experient-inc.com.

Cardiothoracic surgeons who are not STS members but who submit completed application materials for Active or International Membership by October 15, 2014, can register for the meeting at a reduced rate. Learn more about STS membership here.
