Case of the Month: Noisy Breathing

In this episode of the Case of the Month, thoracic surgeon and CTSNet Senior Editor Leanne Ashrafian is joined by Dr. John Pilling, a consultant thoracic surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. They present part 1 of the case “Noisy Breathing.” Dr. Ashrafian provides an overview of the patient’s medical history and discusses the symptoms he was experiencing. Dr. Pilling then reviews the findings from the lung function tests, including an exploration of the results of the forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and forced vital capacity (FV).
