In this study with 663 TAVI patients, the authors investigated the predictors for next day discharge (NDD). After excluding cases that did not have a minimalist transfemoral approach, 150 patients had NDD and 210 patients had non-NDD.

Rahmanian and colleagues retrospectively compared surgical outcomes and hemodynamics between rapid deployment aortic valve replacement (RDAVR) and standard AVR. The authors conclude that RDAVR required shorter aortic cross-clamp times and allowed for larger prostheses, achieving better hemodynamics than standard AVR.
