I was in Kenya when I came to know the sudden demise of my great teacher and a great surgeon. I was expressionless as I never expected it so soon. he was too humble and helpful. I remember working with him at apollo Chennai when he was famous for LV aneurysm surgery. He was an excellent surgeon and an excellent human being and it is a personal loss to me and to the cardiothoracic community worldwide! May God grant peace to his departed soul! Extremely saddened to hear about the demise of Dr.Parachuri Rao. I remember him with great respect, during my early days as SHO in cardiac surgery at Harefield hospital, when he was a senior registrar. Wonderful human being and a brilliant surgeon. Great loss May his soul rest in peace.
