Following the recent two major trials (JCOG0802 and CALGB 140503), segmentectomies in favorable conditions are being adopted internationally. However, complex segmentectomies, such as an apical right upper lobe, can be challenging to train. This video of a right upper lobe apical uniportal segmentectomy utilizing Indocyanine green technology demonstrates tips and tricks for training in such complex cases, and that it can be done via a uniportal access.
