Left atrial appendage closure has become a key point in modern cardiac surgery. On the other hand, as cardiac surgery has become increasingly less invasive, left atrial appendage closure has emerged as a more complex step in these surgeries. Numerous specialized devices have been developed as a solution. In this video, the authors show how to perform left atrial appendage closure using a stapler device. These devices are generally available at most centers and can be easily incorporated into surgical equipment.
