The author will highlight the main anatomical landmarks that drive the surgical resection and that must be kept in the surgeon’s mind to allow for a safe and efficient surgical procedure. Finally, the video will discuss when it is advisable to add an edge-to-edge mitral stich during the modified Morrow myectomy and the author’s way of doing so.
