Worldwide, lung cancer is a leading cause of death. Minimally invasive resection of small pulmonary nodules is an opportunity and a challenge at the same time. The smaller the nodule, the better the long-term outlook for the patient, but the more difficult the resection. An efficient solution can be found in intra-operative 3D imaging and guided navigation.
